HYROX Training at The Hunt

HYROX is demanding. It requires strength, endurance, engine, and the ability to move well under fatigue. Training properly means more than just working hard. It means training with structure, purpose, and progression.

At The Hunt, our HYROX programme is designed to support athletes at every stage. Whether you are preparing for your first race or looking to sharpen performance for your next event, our weekly schedule covers every component required on race day.

Our Weekly HYROX Training Schedule

Each session has a clear focus and fits into a balanced weekly structure.

Station + Erg Conditioning

Monday and Thursday

Focused on repeated station work combined with ergs. These sessions build race-specific conditioning, efficiency, and pacing under fatigue.

HYROX Strength

Tuesday

Strength sessions tailored to the demands of HYROX. Expect compound lifts, functional loading, and strength work that transfers directly to the course.

HYROX Conditioning (General)

Tuesday

Conditioning-based sessions designed to improve work capacity, transitions, and resilience across mixed modalities.

Zone 2 Conditioning

Wednesday

Low to moderate intensity aerobic work to build endurance, improve recovery, and support long-term performance. A key session that often gets overlooked.

Weekly Simulations

Friday

Controlled race-style simulations to practise pacing, movement standards, and strategy. These sessions prepare you mentally and physically for competition.

Hybrid Running

Saturday

Running-focused sessions that blend strength and conditioning elements. Designed to improve running efficiency while fatigued.

HYROX Simulation Sessions

Friday simulations can be booked individually or in teams of two or three. These sessions are ideal if you want a focused race-style experience or are training with a partner or relay team.

We also run Sunday Simulation Days. Dates vary depending on upcoming HYROX events and are announced on our social channels. These days are designed to replicate race conditions as closely as possible.

Personal Training and Event Preparation

Damo offers both in-person and online personal training.

If you want hands-on coaching, structured support inside the gym, or a tailored training plan leading into a specific HYROX event, Damo can build a programme around your goals, experience level, and schedule.
