The Hunt is Melbourne’s home for HYROX preparation.

Our HYROX programme blends strength, endurance, and race-specific movements to help you perform when it matters. Whether you’re lining up for your first event or chasing a new PB, every session is designed with race day in mind.

A key part of the programme focuses on building your aerobic engine through Zone 2 training. This low-intensity, steady-state work improves cardiovascular capacity, supports recovery, and allows you to sustain effort across every station of the HYROX race.

Program Details

HYROX is the world’s fastest-growing fitness race, and our programme is built to prepare you properly. Sessions combine functional strength, conditioning, running, and technique work to ensure you are confident, capable, and race-ready.

Weekly HYROX Classes

  • Station + Erg Conditioning - Monday and Thursday

  • HYROX Strength - Tuesday

  • HYROX Conditioning (General) - Tuesday

  • Zone 2 Conditioning -Wednesday

  • Weekly Simulations - Friday

  • Hybrid Running - Saturday


HYROX Simulations & Booking

Our HYROX simulations are designed to replicate race conditions as closely as possible. These sessions allow you to practise pacing, transitions, movement standards, and race-day strategy in a controlled environment.

Weekly Simulations run every Friday and can be booked:

  • Solo

  • In teams of two

  • In teams of three

We also run Sunday Simulation Days, with dates scheduled around upcoming HYROX events. Specific dates are announced on our social channels.

Coaching & Support

Damo offers both in-person and online personal training for HYROX athletes. Whether you’re looking for hands-on coaching in the gym or a structured training plan leading into an event, you’ll receive tailored support aligned to your goals.
