The Hunt Strength & Conditioning is a personal and group training studio based in St Kilda, Melbourne. We offer a variety of sessions to suit all fitness levels - our experienced coaches will ensure you are training to the best of your capabilities to make sure your health and fitness goals are reached.
Our approach to strength and conditioning is that it should be accessible to everyone regardless of your previous experience. We ensure everything is tailored and customized for our clients - allowing everyone to progress and improve and their own rates.
No matter what you’re looking to achieve, we have a solution. The Hunt offers three types of training - all run by qualified and experienced instructors who will tailor your activities to your goals, and your body. You can attend one type of session, or all three - with no lock in contracts or joining fees.
An entirely personalised approach; from the moment you walk in you will have our undivided attention. Personal Training is a customised experience designed to focus on you and your body; creating and maintaining positive change by setting and smashing individual, specific goals. Create new habits and stay motivated with our 1:1 sessions.
Semi Private Training involves a fully customised and individualised training program to your specific needs (identified during a movement screening and assessment) and your training goals to ensure you are progressing towards your desired training outcomes.
Performed in a small group, creating a unique coaching and training environment.
Giving you overtime complete autonomy and ownership over your own training but at the same time a coach guiding you through your program on the gym floor.
If you want to maximise the time you spend in the gym working towards a specific goal this is the program for you. This is without a doubt the best value and closest service you’ll get to 1on1 coaching at a fraction of the cost.
Love to train with others? Set Class Training programs run throughout the week, with numbers capped at 10 or 20 (depending on the class) to ensure adequate attention on your technique from our coaches. All participants complete the same program, with tailoring during each to provide different options for all degrees of fitness.

At The Hunt, our experienced coaches are best placed to design sessions and group classes around individual needs. From a first-time gym goer to an endorphin addict, we provide an inclusive environment as we support you in achieving your goals whilst simultaneously improving your technique, strength and intensity.
Are you looking for a full body workout? This resistance-based class utilises a range of equipment such as kettlebells, dumbbells and barbells to get your muscles moving from head to toe. Not sure where you want to achieve? That is OK too. For beginners we can ensure you are comfortable and learn the right techniques as you progress to more advanced movements; and for advanced gym-goers and lifters we can push you to level-up. Designed as a four-week program, you’ll see and feel the most benefits by seeing a cycle through.
A class to strengthen from within; this core-focussed class is designed to stabilise you from the inside-out. Using a variety of equipment such as dumbbells and kettlebells, as well as core-focused tools like the torsonator and a variety of body-weight exercises, you’ll feel the burn and will walk out feeling stronger than when you arrived. Tense It is different to other abs classes, the unique approach is about creating strong foundations within your body rather than just polishing the outer layer of abs.

If you like to sweat, this is the class for you. Working in partners or teams, this strength & conditioning class runs at a higher intensity, with a focus on burning calories and releasing those endorphins. Made up exercises using body weight as well as both strengthening and cardio equipment, having others to push you through ensures you get the most out of your workout.
